A taxi driver from Scarborough has luckily escaped serious injury when thugs threw a fire extinguisher at his taxi car. Very luckily the fire extinguisher did not explode and ended up being lodged underneath the driver’s vehicle. The taxi driver now faces repair costs of at least £1000 to his damaged vehicle.
The taxi insurance driver was unable to get a clear look at the 3 thugs but said that they were young males and ran off immediately after the incident in Valley Road.
